Find your EOR

The EOR provider consolidates two brands under one roof as it expands well beyond offering employer of record services.

If you've been tracking the global hiring space, you may have noticed Horizons quietly operating two brands for a while. They had their flagship EOR platform and a separate recruitment-focused property called Remote People.

In February 2026, the company made it official: Horizons is gone, and Remote People is the new name for everything.

Why the Change?

The rebrand reflects the company's evolution from an employer of record provider into a full-lifecycle hiring and expansion platform — one that handles not just compliant employment, but also recruiting talent and helping companies set up local entities when they're ready to plant a flag.

CEO Antoine Boquen put it plainly: "Remote People is the right name for where we're going. We're not just an EOR anymore. We take care of the full hiring and expansion experience, from recruitment to compliant hiring, to incorporation."

The logic of folding in the Remote People brand makes sense.

Rather than manage two separate identities with overlapping audiences, the company consolidated around the name that better described what it had already become.

What the Platform Covers Now

The rebrand comes as Remote People broadens its offerings beyond EOR services, now including in-house recruitment, contractor management, U.S. PEO, global mobility, and entity incorporation advisory.

The company operates across 150+ countries and is trusted by over 3,000 companies.

One detail worth noting: the company has been profitable since 2020 and has grown sustainably rather than through venture capital — a differentiator in a space dominated by heavily funded players like Deel and Remote.

What it Means for Existing Customers

Existing Horizons customers will experience a seamless transition — all contracts, services, and account relationships remain unchanged, with the new branding rolling out across the platform, communications, and invoicing over the coming weeks.

The Bigger Trend

The rebrand reflects a growing split in how companies approach global hiring. Some want a single vendor to handle everything from sourcing to incorporation; others prefer best-in-class point solutions for each piece of the puzzle.

Remote People is clearly betting on the former,  but the pure-play EOR model remains a strong fit for companies that already have recruitment handled and just need compliant employment infrastructure in new markets.
